Going to the dell web site you can find out what came with the computer when it was purchased. used computers that are 5 yrs old do not have much value but can be very handy for browsing the internet as it gives you some protection if you use a dedicated computer for browsing in case something happens you don't have anything to lose. if you have young children or a grandparent it could be a great computer too. My mother-in-law just uses the computer to play card games your's would be fine.
