I have the same problem with black parts turned red. It is not a software problema because the same happended at bios setup

It happens on my ahtec. I mended it by opening the screen and pushing only a little on the cables. they are pasted onthe screen by a film and when my computer falled from a table, they must be removed. Sorry, but my english isn´t good enought.

test it on a external monitor if the same thing its the graphics chip.

I think its the cable.

happens to mine too but mine goes blue and the black parts on pages go red

im pretty sure that its software problem, not hardware. reinstall graphic card and you will be fine.

if you have artifacts (dots effect) this is due to your video card. The memory maybe faulty. Have the NB checked for dust (clean) which is stopping the NB from being cooled or have the mobo changed.

Also they say they have some enchant of the video quality. that’s not so true! it isn’t neither bright at all.

i agree that asus and acer sucks. acer more.
i have this asus, my harddisk poofed in 2months but i was in warranty. the wireless manual switch doesn’t work anymore. Some keys of the keyboards are soft, some hard.
If the touchpad is on, it will randomly use the scroll function, the most annoying thing.
