Hi, I wish that I can close my Aspire One, while using an external monitor, mouse and a keyboard without putting it on standby when I close it.

If you see Swoop ad on Youtube, stay away from it like a plague! It’s a total rip off site!

This HP brand optical drive is $40 with free shipping at new egg.
EDIT: As of June 15, 2009, this is the cheapest optical drive in new condition that is available online.
It is easily the best deal because not only is it the cheapest one, but HP is one of the best brands for computer/computer accessories.

your pinky is on the semi colon so when reaching to enter key, you only have to cross one key, on that keyboard it was crossing 2 keys.
for example, try to hit the right side of the enter key, without moving your index, middle or ring fingers.

Sounds like you know what your doing. i dont know the running temperature but the fan is factory set to run 24/7.
You can set the fan to turn off when the CPU reaches a certain temperature. Depending on which software you downloaded it should let you do that.
